In our first conference game of the year, we defeated Mattoon 5-1 away at Mattoon High School, extending our record to 5-0. M. Sefton: 3 goals, 1 assist C. Aden: 1 goal, 1 assist A. Wagoner: 1 goal S. Simoni: 2 assists J. Niebrugge: 1 assist P. Rosen: 3 saves In a game with 5 goals, we also had 5 assists showing our teamwork & unselfish play. Tonight was a strong team win. We had moments of controlling the field with patience and moments of attacking with speed. I’m proud of how the team is looking after 5 games and believe that if we keep playing together as a team, we will have a strong season.
