Varsity vs Mt Zion High School Tonight we had a big conference win against Mt. Zion, ending 3-1, extending our season record to 6-0! This win was the first time EHS has defeated Mt. Zion soccer since 2017. We had a great game & showed a lot of teamwork. M. Sefton had a highlight goal hitting a perfect shot into the far post upper 90. J. Niebrugge got on the score sheet for the first time this season while providing a strong presence in the midfield. C. Aden continues to show his importance to the team through his field vision & playmaking. Defensively we played strong and held them scoreless outside of a penalty kick. Each player performed with excellence tonight & I could call out each individual in how they contributed to the game. Great team win for our program! M. Sefton: 2 goals, 1 assist J.
